We are committed to providing our current customers and future customers with more product choices and digital content in the upcoming year.
Happy Holidays! I trust this issue of the Kussmaul Newsletter will find you well.
I have some very exciting news this year. As some of you may already know, Kussmaul’s parent company Mission Critical Electronics (MCE) based in Huntington Beach, CA has acquired Xantrex (www.xantrex.com) from Schneider Electronics in November.
With this acquisition Xantrex will accompany Kussmaul in MCE’s Vehicle Power Group led by Dale Tompkins (also Kussmaul’s President). The Xantrex team brings many years of experience in power inversion and charging to the group. With joint efforts moving forward, Kussmaul and Xantrex will develop new products that will further the solutions needed in many different vehicle segments. From emergency vehicles to class 8 tractor trailer, our combined technologies will lead the way to green power.
In 2018, Kussmaul hired two more Regional Sales Managers which you should have come to know. Brian Cassell is responsible for the Northeast and Loni Marcus is responsible for National Vocational sales. If you have not met them yet, please feel free to reach out and say hello.
For 2019, we will be introducing two very exciting product advancements along with new technologies to better enable you, our customers, to manage the changing loads on your vehicles that may happen from time to time.
Please keep a look out for our product announcements and be sure to stop by at FDIC to see these two very impressive products.
I would like to personally thank you for your continued support and business. From our family to yours, please have a very safe and Happy Holiday season!
Colin Chambless, VP of Marketing and Sales

Did you Know?
In your vehicle, corrosion around the battery terminals or loose cable connections can interfere with the battery charge and make it harder for the battery to start your engine. A quick terminal cleaning and cable check can help prevent issues.
