FY20 AFG-S 2 Opportunity for Volunteer and Combination Fire Departments Coming This Fall

An additional opportunity for volunteer and combination fire departments to apply for coronavirus (COVID-19)-related personal protective equipment (PPE) is coming this fall. FEMA will competitively award additional FY20 AFG-S grants to volunteer and combination fire departments only as a part of this second application period. All activities under this solicitation are limited to the purchase of PPE and related supplies required to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19.

Environmental & Historic Preservation Screening Notifications Update

Applicants who receive an email directing them to complete and submit an Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) screening form should complete it and email it to the AFG Help Desk at firegrants@fema.dhs.gov, not the EHP Office as listed in the instructions. Applicants will receive an email from the AFG Help Desk acknowledging receipt of the EHP screening form. Applicants will be contacted if further information is needed.

Please note: This notification is NOT indication of an award.

If an applicant submitted an EHP Screening form at the time of application and received an email request to submit the EHP form again, the applicant should contact the AFG Help Desk for confirmation at 1-866-274-0960  M-F 8:00-4:30 ET or email:  firegrants@fema.dhs.gov.
